What is a filling?
Made of a composite material, a filling or inlay is attached to your tooth to fill a hole caused by decay.
Why do I need a filling?
When a tooth is attacked by plaque acids and it becomes softened, dental or tooth decay happens. The attack dissolves away both the enamel and dentine of your tooth to produce a cavity or hole.
